Which isn't to say I'm doing absolutely nothing with my band. I may, or may not be doing something with my band, but that something may not be for a while. Plus, I have half the fame The Boyfriend does.
And to be completely truthful, I almost feel it unfair, because he is a DJ. And I... how to put this? I actually compose my own music? Perhaps I am simply being a huge douche packer. But, oh, I don't know. It feels like I've worked harder at it than he has. Alas, such is fate.
Anyway. His show is on April eleventh, as you can probably see. So if you're in the area and you'd like to catch a glimpse of the infamous Boyfriend, then's your chance.
Meanwhile, I've found that this whole music business is sort of like one of those cliques at school, where you get told that if you do something for them, say, buy each of the members a pack of Bubblicious, they'll do something in return, say, let you into their clique. But then they "deliberate" and take hours and days and months before deciding that you smell funny and they liked you at first but then you got Hillary the lemonade Bubblicious instead of the raspberry Bubblicious and you didn't even get Tayla a Bubblicious at all. And then you're out.
And what do you do? You start again, with a new clique, who doesn't request Bubblicious, but wants something else instead, like your lunch pizza for a month. After that, it's all smooth sailing.
